Research Prize in Special Care Dentistry
Sponsored by the British Society for Disability and Oral Health
The British Society for Disability and Oral Health has instituted a small grant research competition worth up to £5,000. The grant may be used to support research within the area of special care dentistry, particularly projects which benefit special care dentistry in community settings.
The prize may NOT be used to fund or part fund an MSc or other post graduate degree. In addition:
- The grant may be used to support consumable costs of new projects, to include some limited staff costs.
- The focus of this call is on early career researchers/clinicians. It is possible however for an early career researcher/clinician to make a co-application with an established researcher
- The grant must be used to support research to benefit special care dentistry, particularly projects based in community settings.
- The BSDH prizes subcommittee will judge projects. Applicants must be members of BSDH.
